Refer Friends & Family | Cribb Insurance Group, Bentonville AR

Know someone whose renewal just went up?

Almost everybody we write walked in because somebody vouched for us. If there is a friend, a neighbor or a contractor who ought to have a second set of eyes on their coverage, pass our name along and we will take it from there — including telling them, if it turns out to be true, that what they already have is fine.

Three ways, all of them quick

Share a link by text or email using the buttons below — the message is already written. Send them straight to a quote, personal or commercial, and have them put your name in the referral field. Or just tell them to call (479) 286-1066 and mention you. There is no form on this page and nothing for you to fill in. Please send them a link rather than sending us their number without asking them first.

Share it

One tap, message already written.

Add your name if you want the message signed. Nothing is sent to us and nothing is stored — your name is only used to write the text on your own phone.

Pass it along

Opens your own messages or email app with a short note ready to go. Edit it however you like before you send it — a message that sounds like you works better than one that sounds like us.

One thing worth knowing

Tell them to put your name in the box.

Both quote forms have a field asking who referred them, and that field is the entire mechanism. It is not a formality and it is not marketing analytics — it is how a referral gets attached to you rather than arriving as an anonymous web lead like any other.

The thing that loses referrals is nobody mentioning it. Somebody gets a quote, likes it, buys a policy, and we never find out who sent them. One line in your message fixes that: tell them to put your name down, or to say it when they call. If it gets missed and you later realize somebody came from you, tell us and we will sort it out — we would rather fix the record than lose it. Share it with your name attached.

What happens next

Three steps, and none of them are yours.

You pass our name along

Text it, email it, or just tell them. There is nothing to fill in on our end and no form standing between you and doing somebody a favor.

They ask for a quote

They can use either quote form or simply call. Both forms have a field for who sent them, and that is the whole mechanism — it is how a referral gets attached to your name.

We tell you what happened

Whether it worked out or not. Sometimes the honest answer is that their current coverage is already right, and we would rather tell them that than move a policy for the sake of it. You will still hear from us either way.

How we will and will not treat them.

Somebody you sent gets a quote and a straight answer, including the answer that their current coverage is already right if that is what we find. What they will not get is a pipeline: no repeat calls after they say no, no passing their details anywhere, and no pressure applied on the strength of knowing you.

That matters to us for a self-interested reason as much as a decent one. A referral spends your credibility, not ours — and an agency that burns it does not get sent a second person.

Frequently asked questions

Referring someone.

What actually counts as a referral?

Someone you sent who asks us for a quote and says you sent them.

That is the entire test. They do not have to buy anything, they do not have to be a homeowner, and they do not have to live in Bentonville — we are licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. A neighbor whose renewal jumped, a friend closing on a house, a contractor who needs a certificate for a job on Monday, a relative with a boat sitting on a policy nobody has looked at in years. All of it counts. What does not count is us cold-calling somebody you mentioned in passing, which we will not do.

How does the person I refer let you know it was me?

They put your name in the quote form, or they say it on the phone.

Both quote forms have a field asking who referred them, and that field is the mechanism — it is what attaches the referral to you. If they call instead, telling whoever answers works just as well and we will note it on the file. The one thing that reliably loses a referral is nobody mentioning it, because a name we never hear is a name we cannot credit. Worth saying in your message: tell them to put your name down.

Do I get anything for referring someone?

We say thank you, and there are rules about how.

Insurance is regulated on this point, and Arkansas limits what an agency may give a person in connection with insurance business. So the honest answer is that a thank-you is a thank-you rather than a commission, and anything of value is kept modest enough to stay inside those limits. Ask us what it is currently and you will get a straight answer. The more valuable thing, frankly, is that a referral gets attention: we know where it came from, and nobody wants to be the reason you regret vouching for us.

Do you give anything for leaving a review?

No. Never have, and we would decline if you offered.

A referral and a review are different things and we keep them apart deliberately. Offering anything of value in exchange for a review — positive or otherwise — is prohibited, and a review that was paid for is worthless to the next person reading it, which defeats the point of having reviews at all. If you want to leave one, we would be glad, and you will get nothing for it but our thanks. Referrals are about connecting somebody to a quote. Reviews are about telling the truth in public. Keeping the two separate protects both.

Can I refer a business, not just a household?

Yes, and commercial referrals are some of the most useful ones we get.

A contractor being asked for a certificate of insurance, a shop whose landlord changed the lease requirements, an employer trying to work out workers compensation across a state line, a fleet that has grown past what its policy was written for. Send them to the commercial quote form or just tell them to call and describe the operation. Business insurance runs differently from personal — more questions, more moving parts — so a phone call is often the faster route for those.

What happens to my friend's information?

The same thing that happens to yours, and nothing more.

We use it to prepare a quote and to place coverage if they want it, and it goes to the insurance companies we approach on their behalf. We do not sell it and we do not hand it to unaffiliated companies for their own marketing. One request: send them a link rather than sending us their phone number without asking them first. Nobody enjoys a call they did not ask for, it is the fastest way to make a referral feel like a favor you did us instead of one you did them, and there are rules about contacting people who have not agreed to be contacted. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Thanks for thinking of us.

Send them a personal quote link or a commercial quote link, share the page by text or email, or just tell them to call. Whichever way it happens, have them put your name in the referral field — that is how it gets back to you.

Cribb Insurance Group Inc. 1601 SW Regional Airport Blvd, Bentonville, AR 72713 (479) 286-1066 service@cribbinsurance.com

Cribb Insurance Group Inc. is an independent insurance agency licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. This page is general information about referring someone to the agency. It is not a policy, not an offer of insurance, and not a guarantee of coverage, availability, eligibility, or price. It is not legal advice, claims advice, or a legal opinion.

About thanking people who refer. Anything the agency provides to a person who refers another is given as a courtesy in connection with a request for a quote. It is not compensation, not a commission, and not contingent on the referred person buying anything. Arkansas law limits what may be given to a person in connection with insurance business, and anything offered is kept within those limits and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Nothing here is an offer of any specific item or amount. Referring someone does not affect your own coverage, premium, eligibility or the handling of any claim, and no referral is required to remain a client.

Reviews are separate and are never rewarded. The agency does not offer, give or promise anything of value in exchange for a review, rating or testimonial, and does not condition anything on a review being positive. No reviews or testimonials are reproduced on this page.

Contacting people you refer. Please share a link rather than supplying someone else's telephone number or email address without their agreement. Where a referred person contacts the agency themselves, the agency's privacy policy governs how their information is handled, including how to stop being contacted at any time by any reasonable method.

About the share buttons. They open the messaging or email application on your own device with text already written, which you can edit or delete before sending. No name entered on this page is transmitted to the agency, saved, or stored anywhere — it is used only to compose a message in your browser. The agency does not send messages on your behalf and does not receive a copy of anything you send.
