Your bill and your claim both go to the carrier.
We placed the policy; the insurance company holds it, bills it and pays the claim. So the fastest route is usually straight to them — and the number is on your ID card. This is the backup for when you cannot find the card. Report the claim first, then tell us, and we will follow it with you.
Two jobs, one directory
Paying a bill: nearly every policy we place is billed direct, so the insurance company takes the payment, not us. Reporting a claim: the carrier's claims line is the call that starts the process, and it is open when we are not. Companies do not all work the same way — some take the claim straight from you, some ask that it come through us — and the directory below says which is which. Either way, tell us the same day on (479) 286-1066.
Find your insurance company.
Every number here was read off that company's own website. Nothing on this page came from a third-party directory, for reasons set out below.

Search almost any insurance company's name alongside the words customer service and you will find pages publishing phone numbers that belong to nobody in particular. Some of them exist specifically to catch people who have just had a loss and are not reading carefully. The number on your own ID card and declarations page is always the safe one, and both are in the client portal.
If a number on this page does not connect the way you expect, stop and call us on (479) 286-1066 rather than searching for an alternative. Carriers change numbers without telling anybody, and we would far rather re-check a listing than have you dial something you found on a results page.
We are not the insurance company.
then call us in that order
The carrier's line is open when ours is not, and reporting it is what starts the clock. Telling us second costs you nothing and means somebody else is tracking it.
Where the line actually falls.
We do not adjust claims and we do not decide them. The insurance company investigates the loss, applies the policy and pays or declines. Nobody at this agency can overrule that, and an agency that implies otherwise is setting you up for a bad afternoon.
What we do is hold your file. We can see what is actually on the policy, which endorsements are attached and what the deductible is, and we can tell you whether what you are being asked for is normal. If a claim goes quiet, we can chase it. If something looks wrong, we can say so and put it in front of somebody at the carrier who can move it.
On billing it is the same shape. We cannot take your payment or post it to your policy, but we can tell you who bills you, find the right number, and sort out what happened when a payment did not land where it should have.
Bills and claims.
Do I pay Cribb Insurance or the insurance company?
The insurance company, in almost every case.
Nearly everything we place is billed direct, which means the carrier invoices you and takes the payment through its own portal, its own phone line or its own autopay. We do not hold your money and we cannot post a payment to your policy. What we can do is tell you which company bills you, find the right number, and get in the middle if something has gone wrong. A small number of commercial and specialty policies are agency billed or premium financed and work differently. If yours is one of those you will already know, because the invoice comes from somewhere other than the insurance company.
Who do I call first when something happens?
Your insurance company. Their claims line is open around the clock.
That is the call that starts the process, and outside office hours it is the only one available, so it is the right first call rather than a second-best one. The number is printed on your ID card and on your declarations page, both of which are in the client portal, and the directory on this page lists it as well. One thing worth knowing is that carriers do not all work the same way. Some take the claim straight from you at any hour. Others ask that it come through your agent, with an after-hours line as backup. The directory says which is which, company by company. Then tell us, the same day if you can.
What if my company is not on this list?
Call the office and we will find it.
The list covers the companies we place the most business with, and it is deliberately short rather than padded with names we rarely touch. Insurance is also sometimes written through a wholesale broker or a specialty market that has no consumer portal at all, in which case the honest answer is that there is nothing for you to log in to and the route runs through us. Either way, the number on your ID card or your declarations page is the authoritative one. If you cannot put your hands on either, we can.
I got a cancellation notice. What now?
Call the same day. Do not wait for the renewal to sort itself out.
The window to reinstate a policy after a missed payment is short and it is set by the carrier and by state law, not by us. It is far easier to keep a policy in force than to put one back, and a lapse follows you into the next application even after it is fixed. Bring the notice with you, or read us the date on it, and we will tell you who to call and what they will need. A card that expired on file and a payment that genuinely was not made are different problems with different fixes, and the notice usually does not say which one it is.
Are these numbers current?
They were read off each carrier's own website on the date shown, and nothing here comes from a third party.
That matters more than it sounds. Search for almost any insurance company plus the words customer service and you will find pages publishing phone numbers that belong to nobody in particular, some of them set up to take advantage of people who have just had a loss. Every number on this page came from the insurance company's own site. Carriers still change numbers without telling anybody, so if one does not connect the way you expect, stop and call us rather than searching for an alternative. The number on your own ID card is always a safe fallback.
Can I report a claim by emailing you?
Please do not. Report it to the carrier, then tell us.
Email is not monitored around the clock and a claim sitting unread in an inbox overnight helps nobody. Report it to the insurance company first, on the number in this directory or on your ID card, and then send us a note or call so we know it happened. We are not the adjuster and we do not decide the outcome, but we hold your file and we can see what is on the policy, so we can follow it with you. If there is any question of injury or of a crime, emergency services and law enforcement come before either call.
If our guides are useful, mark Cribb Insurance as a preferred source so more Arkansas families and businesses can find plain-English answers about their own coverage.
Tell us it happened.
Once the claim is reported, call or email and we will pull your file and follow it with you. If a bill has gone wrong or a cancellation notice has arrived, call the same day rather than waiting — the window to put a policy back is shorter than the window to keep it.
Cribb Insurance Group Inc. is an independent insurance agency licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. This page is a contact directory provided for the convenience of our clients. It is general information. It is not a policy, not an offer of insurance, and not a guarantee of coverage, availability, eligibility, or price. It is not legal advice, claims advice, or a legal opinion.
Claims. Cribb Insurance Group Inc. is not an insurance company, not a claims administrator and not an adjuster, and does not accept, investigate, adjust, approve or deny claims. A claim is reported to and decided by your insurance carrier under the terms of the policy issued to you. Reporting a loss does not establish that it is covered, and nothing on this page determines whether any claim will be paid. The policy actually issued to you controls what is covered in every case. In an emergency, or where injury or a possible crime is involved, contact emergency services and law enforcement first.
Billing. Premium is generally billed and collected directly by the insurance company. Billing terms, payment methods, due dates, fees, grace periods, cancellation and reinstatement are set by the carrier and by applicable state law, vary by carrier and by policy, and are not controlled by the agency. The agency does not accept premium payments on behalf of carriers except where a policy is expressly agency billed.
About the contact details listed. Company names, telephone numbers and web addresses are published for identification and routing only. Each number and link shown was taken from that company's own website on the date noted beside it. Carriers change contact details without notice and this page may be out of date. The number printed on your identification card and on your declarations page is authoritative; where it differs from anything here, use the card. Listing a company is not an endorsement of it, and is not a representation that any particular product, carrier or price is available to any particular person, property or business, or that a given company currently insures you. Linked sites are operated by those companies and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
A caution. Telephone numbers claiming to be carrier customer service or claims lines are widely published by parties unconnected with the insurance companies concerned, and some are operated fraudulently. Use the number on your card, the number on this page, or call our office. Do not rely on a number found through a general search.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Central time, and may change. Market access referenced elsewhere on this site as "more than forty carriers" reflects the agency's overall market access; the companies listed here are those we place most frequently and are not a complete list of markets available through the agency.
