Branch Auto Insurance in Arkansas | Instant Quote, State Minimums & the Bundle | Cribb Insurance Group
Branch · Auto · Arkansas

Real price in seconds. Real coverage underneath.

Branch's pitch is a genuine auto price from just your name and address, with the savings coming from bundling with home. Fast is good — but the limits and coverages underneath are what protect you. Here's what a Branch auto policy covers, what Arkansas actually requires, and the honest read on the instant-quote model.

The short answer

Branch auto covers liability (which Arkansas requires), collision, comprehensive, uninsured/underinsured motorist, and medical payments/PIP — plus rideshare options. Its edge is the instant quote and bundling with home. Arkansas requires minimum liability of 25/50/25, but that's a floor, not protection — a serious crash blows past it fast. Branch Insurance Exchange is rated A (Exceptional) by Demotech — a real rating, read honestly — and its renewals are worth watching.

The number that misleads drivers

The state minimum is a floor, not protection.

An instant quote to the legal minimum is fast and cheap and technically legal. It's also where a lot of Arkansas drivers quietly leave themselves exposed.

25 / 50 / 25 the legal floor

Arkansas's required minimum: $25,000 bodily injury per person, $50,000 per accident, $25,000 property damage. It satisfies the law. It does not promise to cover a serious crash.

Where the floor gives way.

One badly injured person can exhaust the $25,000 per-person limit before the ambulance ride is paid for. Total a newer vehicle and the $25,000 property-damage limit is gone. Whatever's left, the at-fault driver pays personally — which in Arkansas, an at-fault state, can mean your savings and your wages.

That's why most independent agents suggest at least 100/300/100 plus uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. The instant quote won't push you there; the right limits are a risk decision, not a default. Setting them on purpose is the review we do on top of the Branch price.

Arkansas minimum liability per Ark. Code § 27-22-104 (25/50/25). Recommended higher limits are general guidance, not a rule; your limits are your decision.
Arkansas rules, honestly

What Arkansas actually requires.

Arkansas is a financial-responsibility, at-fault state. Every driver must carry liability of at least 25/50/25 — $25,000 bodily injury per person, $50,000 per accident, $25,000 property damage — and proof of insurance must be carried at all times, with coverage verified through the state's online system. Driving uninsured brings fines, and can bring impoundment and license suspension.

Two coverages worth knowing about: uninsured/underinsured motorist and personal injury protection generally must be offered, and are included unless you reject them in writing. Don't reject them casually — UM/UIM is what protects you when the at-fault driver has little or no insurance, which is more common than most people expect. Collision and comprehensive are optional under the law, but if your vehicle is financed or leased, your lender will require them.

If you drive for a rideshare or delivery platform, Arkansas sets separate, higher requirements depending on whether the app is on and whether you're on a trip — and a normal personal auto policy typically excludes that driving. Branch offers rideshare/homeshare options; if you drive for any platform, say so, so the coverage is in place rather than assumed.

UM/UIM is the coverage people regret dropping.

When the driver who hits you has 25/50/25 or nothing at all, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is what pays for your injuries. It's inexpensive relative to what it does, and rejecting it to save a few dollars is the decision we most often see come back to bite. We'll make sure it's a deliberate choice, not a default buried in an instant quote.

What's on the policy

The coverages inside an auto policy.

Required

Liability (BI & PD)

Pays for injuries and property damage you cause to others. Arkansas requires 25/50/25; higher limits protect your assets far better and cost less than most drivers expect.

Optional

Collision

Repairs or replaces your own vehicle after a crash, regardless of fault, minus your deductible. Optional by law, but required by any lender or lessor.

Optional

Comprehensive

Covers non-collision losses — theft, hail, fire, vandalism, flooding, and animal strikes. In hail-prone Arkansas, this is the coverage that quietly earns its keep.

Protects you

Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist

Pays for your injuries when the at-fault driver has too little or no coverage. Must be offered in Arkansas and included unless rejected in writing — don't reject it lightly.

Injuries

Medical Payments / PIP

Helps with medical costs for you and your passengers after a crash, regardless of fault. PIP generally must be offered in Arkansas unless you decline it in writing.

Branch option

Rideshare & Extras

Branch offers rideshare and homeshare options, plus common add-ons like roadside assistance and rental reimbursement. Essential if you drive for any platform — a normal policy excludes it.

What moves the price

The factors behind the number.

Auto is rated on who drives, what they drive, how it's covered, and how you buy it. A handful of factors do most of the work — and with Branch, the bundle is one of them.

Factor 1

Drivers & Records

Ages and driving histories of everyone on the policy — tickets, at-fault accidents, and years licensed. The single biggest swing on most auto premiums.

Factor 2

Vehicles

Year, make, model, safety features, and repair cost of each car. A vehicle that's expensive to fix or a magnet for theft rates higher, whatever the driver.

Factor 3

Limits & Deductibles

Higher liability limits cost more but protect far more; higher deductibles lower premium but raise your out-of-pocket at a claim. This is where coverage decisions become price.

Factor 4

Location, Credit & the Bundle

Where you park and drive, and (where allowed) credit-based insurance score. With Branch, whether home rides along — the bundle is where much of the savings comes from.

Who it fits

Best when the home rides along.

Branch auto is built to be bundled. Appetite and eligibility depend on drivers, vehicles, records, and state, so treat this as a starting point.

One carrier rarely wins every driver.

The Branch bundle is a strong contender when you own a home and drive, but auto pricing swings hard on records, vehicles, and household drivers — so the best market genuinely varies. That's why we run the Branch price against our other markets and tell you which one fits your drivers and cars best, now and at renewal.

What it costs

Rated on your drivers, sweetened by the bundle.

$79 – $105 per month · full-coverage auto

That's the typical range for full-coverage auto placed through Cribb Insurance Group across our markets — a Cribb average, not a Branch rate and not a quote. Your own number turns on your drivers and records, your vehicles, the limits and deductibles you choose, your location, and (where allowed) a credit-based insurance score. With Branch specifically, the home-and-auto bundle and Subscriber Savings Account can pull it lower, though the first-year price isn't a promise about renewal. Some drivers fall below this band and some well above it. What reliably helps: run the real bundled quote and let us compare it across our markets.

Strength & what we do

Rated A (Exceptional) — read honestly.

The Branch Insurance Exchange holds a Demotech Financial Stability Rating of A (Exceptional), affirmed in March 2026, and some underwriting is supported by other carriers such as General Security National Insurance Company with reinsurance from SCOR. Read that honestly: Demotech is a different agency from AM Best, and Branch is a younger insurtech rather than a decades-old balance sheet. On auto, the thing you feel most is claims handling and renewal pricing — so a rating is one input, not the whole picture.

Where we earn it on an auto policy.

The auto mistakes are consistent: liability left at the state minimum, UM/UIM quietly rejected, rideshare driving uncovered, and a renewal increase nobody re-shops. We set the limits on purpose, keep the protective coverages in, and flag the renewal. And because we're independent, if the Branch bundle stops being the best deal for your cars and home, we move it.

Frequently asked questions

Branch auto questions.

What does Branch auto insurance cover?

The standard auto coverages: liability for bodily injury and property damage you cause (which Arkansas requires); collision for your own car in a crash; comprehensive for non-collision losses like theft, hail, fire, and animal strikes; uninsured/underinsured motorist for when the other driver has too little or no insurance; and medical payments or PIP for injuries.

Branch also offers rideshare and homeshare coverage options. Its distinctive feature is speed and bundling — a real price from your name and address, packaged with home for savings.

What's the minimum car insurance required in Arkansas?

Arkansas law requires liability of at least 25/50/25 under Ark. Code § 27-22-104: $25,000 bodily injury per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 property damage. Arkansas is an at-fault, financial-responsibility state, and proof of insurance must be carried at all times.

Uninsured motorist coverage and personal injury protection generally must be offered and are included unless you reject them in writing. Rideshare drivers have separate, higher requirements while the app is on.

Is Arkansas's minimum coverage enough?

It's the legal floor, not a protection target. 25/50/25 means a single serious injury can exhaust the $25,000 per-person limit quickly, and today's vehicles make the $25,000 property-damage limit easy to blow through — leaving you personally responsible for the rest.

Most independent agents suggest considering higher liability limits, often around 100/300/100, plus uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. The right number is a risk decision based on your assets and budget — a conversation worth having rather than defaulting to the minimum.

Does bundling auto with home at Branch save money?

Bundling home and auto is the core of the Branch model, and the package, low management fee, and Subscriber Savings Account are where most of the savings come from — so for a driver who also owns a home, it's often competitive up front.

The honest caveat is renewal: some Branch customers have seen meaningful increases after a low first-year price. Compare the real bundled number now and revisit it at renewal. Because we're independent, if the Branch bundle stops being the best deal, we can move your auto and home elsewhere.

Does Branch cover rideshare or delivery driving?

A personal auto policy generally excludes driving for a rideshare or delivery platform while the app is on — a common and expensive coverage gap. Branch offers rideshare and homeshare coverage options that can address part of that exposure, and Arkansas sets specific, higher insurance requirements for transportation-network drivers depending on ride status.

If you drive for any platform, tell us so we can confirm the coverage is actually in place rather than assumed. Availability of specific options varies by state and underwriting.
